Something about anatomy
In anatomy class this week, so far we have only done counting points in our notebooks. I checked the grade on monday and I was shocked because I had drop a whole letter grade because of my notebook and i thought to myself that I actually didn't do good in anatomy class. But, then Ms.Malonek told us that she have not entered the grade so I became relieved at that time. After, we were all putting our notebooks together Ms. Malonek gave us a little review on the muscles and I didn't remember much so I felt bad and decided to look over the muscle sheet, it was just in case if we have a test this week.
Anatomy Muscle song
Sometimes last week in class, We did an activity. It was an activity where we had to sing a muscle song and our choice of doing choreography to it. It was an fun activity although my group did not finish the choreography we did have fun. i did learn several names of the muscle but now i don't remember because it takes practice to remember informations. I don't know about other peoples but all I know is that it takes time for me to memorize stuff.

What I learn about bone health
In physiology class, I have begin to learn more about bone health after I have done several assignments in class. I have learn from the book the way bones are form and what are the jobs of them. The bones job is to support and protect our body. When bones are broken or fractured, surgery and other stuff can be done to replace or repair the bones. Bones are actually important to human beings because they need it to support them when they walk or to perform specific movements. Without them, we would probably be laying on the floor right now doing nothing because we could not move at all. There are many diseases that we can get when we get old and some diseases just comes from the bones itself if you do not be careful. Such diseases can be like Scoliosis, and other diseases.
Bone functions related to bone structures
All bones in our body perform different structures and functions. Because of these different functions the bones have different structures. Bones are shaped the way they are because of the directions the bones move. In between each bone that coordinates with the other there are tissues, cartilage, ligaments, and much more. These parts provide cushion, blood and much more for the bones to work. For example, the cartilage and ligaments holds both the bones together so that when we move we would not fall apart. In other words, we would not be able to stand straight if it wasn't for the ligaments and cartilage to hold us together.

Math used in Anatomy/Physiology
In anatomy/physiology math is often used to make calculations that are needed to have the correct measurements. For example, the 2 current labs that we have done in physiology class uses math to find the measurements of the body. With these measurements we are able to predict how old an bone or person is also, we can predict the actual height of a person. The first lab that we did was on the flexibilty we have. We are able to conclude how flexible ourselves of our partner is.

Current Event
This article talks about a 47 year old man, who weighs 990 pounds, and died from a heart failure. He has been bedridden for four months. The cause of the bedridden was from his depression and overeating which was caused from the death of his parents of natural causes, nine months ago. The emergency officials had to break down his bedroom wall and load him into the back of the pickup truck. Fighting for his life on the way to the hospital they pronounced him dead at the arrival of the hospital. The man's family then fought with the state officials that he should have been removed to the hospital before he even became critically ill.

"Fearfully and Wonderfully Made"
In response to the phrase "fearfully and wonderfully made" based upon my knowledge of tissue types. Well actually it all starts out with a single cell that divides infinitely. These cells that have been produce are specialized for specific functions. If these specialized cells are similar in stucture and functions they form what they call tissues. In our body, we have four important types of tissues. They are the epithelium, connective, nervous, and muscle tissues. Because, of how these tissues are made it explains how they are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Article about kidneys
This article talks about how old kidneys don't last as long as the young kidneys. The kidneys from older donor don't often last long after transplantation because of it's certain structural dysfunctions that can occur as the kidney ages. There is this function in the kidney that is the filtering units of the kidneys drops as the person ages. Jane C. Tan,Md, of the stanford university medical center in standford, california and her colleagues analyzed the structures of kidney from 20>55 and 23<40 old people. They found a 32% depression of the glomerular filtration rate.

Why I join in Anatomy/Physiology class?
There are many reasons why I join into this class. One reason was because I was interested in this class. I know how we have to eat healthy and do activities to keep our body working healthy. But, I wanted to learn how our body functions and what are the main jobs our organs do. People always say how the your stomach digest food and if the leftover foods that are not digested are stored as fats. It astonished me of how the stomach works but, I wanted to learn more about the functions and job the body does. I am also interested in how the internal body looks like. I want to know where they are located and what organs are they surrounded by. Sometimes when I'm out and my mom starts feeling queasy and I don't know what's wrong. I ask her questions and she says her stomach is not feeling well. But, typically most asians say "It's just that your haven't ate or like you at something wrong". The most common statement is "You need to go to the restroom".
I know those are the common stomach pain reasons. All I wanted to know was what causes those pain and what happens if it is a constant pain that we have. I think learning about how the body works is essential for life. If, something happens then we know how to handle it.
I like to discover stuffs that interest me sometimes. I love hanging out with my friends and having fun. My favorite sport is tennis although I may not be very good at it but I like it. I love having free times between my homework hours because it gets me off the stress i have and lets me relax for time before I get back on track.
